Rejuvenate your skin with dermal fillers
Are you tired of looking tired? Do you long for a fresher, younger looking appearance? If so, dermal fillers could be just what you’re looking for.
At Station Square Dental, our filler treatments are a simple way to roll back the years and keep the secret of your true age locked within a youthful complexion.
Why does our skin age?
Our skin has three natural secrets to keep it smooth and tight: elastin, hyaluronic acid and collagen. These three band together to form your face’s natural support structure and provide that fresh, dewy complexion we all have in our youth. However as time goes on, this structure loses its strength and our facial tissues start to thin. This loss of volume leads to wrinkles, lines and hollow cheeks, causing us to look old before our time. Station Square Dental can help you regain that fresh-faced look and help you look as young as you feel!
What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers (or dermal lip fillers) are a safe, non-surgical treatment used to combat the signs of ageing. Dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid (naturally occurring in the body in the form of collagen), which is lost during the ageing process. The dermal filler is injected into the skin to create volume, smooth out wrinkles and restore fullness to lips and deep folds. Due to its degradable nature, dermal fillers injections also need to be repeated, usually every six months.
With most of our fillers, you’ll be able to see the results straight away and each session takes between 15 and 30 minutes with no downtime afterwards, so you can get straight back into your daily routine with a younger, fresher complexion. We offer dermal fillers for suitable parts of the facial structure, as well as lip fillers to improve tone and appearance of lips and surrounding skin.
What are the side effects of dermal fillers?
At Station Square Dental, our dermal fillers are very safe and side effects are rare. You may experience slight discomfort during the treatment, but this shouldn’t last for long. After treatment, you might have some mild swelling or bruising around the injection sites, but again this should resolve quickly.
